These Microporous Boards have bespoke thermal properties which mean they are significantly (up to 5 times) more efficient than standard refractory insulation products such as Ceramic Fibre / Body Soluble and Calcium Silicate products at reducing heat.

As the boards are so efficient smaller linings can be used, thus enhancing the interior kiln/furnace area. These microporous panels have the potential to significantly reduce fuel output and so can potentially save vast amounts on fuel bills.

The boards can’t see the hot face of an application (naked flame) and are therefore a backup lining.
