Stainless Steel Needles are usually added to Refractory Castable to give a cast extra strength.
Most customers use 3% needles to the cast, as a ratio, however each cast can differ and so this is a guideline/approximate amount only. If unsure please take professional advice to ensure the quantity used is correct for your individual needs.
