Veneto Superior wood burning outdoor pizza oven kit
We are proud to present the Veneto Superior Wood Oven Kit, designed & manufactured by us here in Derbyshire, England. This is our most popular oven kit and has been purchased by the Royal Air Force and numerous celebrities (including celebrity chefs).
This kit includes 5 extremely easy to assemble pieces made from the highest quality refractory castable (i.e heat proof concrete). The refractory castable can withstand at least 1400 degrees Celsius and has been specially produced for this application as it keeps the heat inside the blocks & cooking area, (unlike many ovens found on the internet, where heat penetrates through the concrete and is lost on the outside of the oven).
The kit also includes a high grade stainless steel chimney (rust proof), and a steel door to keep the heat in whilst cooking. The cooking area itself is made of firebricks which conduct and store heat.
Once your foundations are complete and ready for the oven to sit on, you will easily be able to assemble this oven within hours.
The Veneto wood fired oven heats up very quickly (within 1 hour) and will hold heat for many more hours without extra fuel (wood).
The Superior kit comes with all necessary thermal insulation, so unlike many other ovens on the market you will not have to purchase lots of extras in addition.

The size of the KL Veneto oven are as follows:
• External dimensions spherical in shape = 1100mm diameter
• Door opening = 460mm
internal cooking area dimensions = 975mm dia x 450mm (high)
The Superior kit includes:
• 1 pizza peel
• High temperature insulation boards minimum 1.35m2 (under hearth insulation, below firebricks
• High temperature insulation blanket to insulate the exterior of the dome.
• 5 cast insulating blocks (that can withstand at least 1400c)
(simple push together design – (we advise 2/3 people to lift these into place due to the weight (upto 75kg/block)
• 1 stainless steel chimney
• 1 steel door
• 1 firebrick front arch to match the profile of the oven and door
• Insulating castable for final exterior render, heat resistant to 1000c
• 25kg klwasc jointing cement
• 72 x firebricks for the hearth… To cover the cooking area (these will be 230x114x25mm thick)
• Assembly manual included
(sizes may not be exact – we have to say this as the kits may vary by a couple of mm, due to being hand made in moulds, however the difference will be negligible)
We recommend foundations of 1.38×1.368×0.15m deep, as a minimum for your block stand to hold the pizza oven.
These ovens will last years as they are made of specific, highest quality refractory materials.
Once purchased you can paint your oven if you wish to match the decor of your garden using suitable exterior paint or purchase our pigments which can be mixed with the final render to colour the exterior of your oven.

Please be aware of imitation ovens on the market & especially be aware of ovens not using the correct materials/concrete. These will simply crack under the heat and depending on design may get externally extremely hot and not work in the correct manner! Our kit is designed specifically to retain heat whilst offering an authentic Mediterranean style aesthetic.
This kit is produced to the best standards and if built/maintained correctly will provide years of enjoyment!
