This Wood Fired oven has been sold to various celebrities over the years and so you will arguably be in good company, should purchase one?
A lot of customers struggle with tapering bricks, cutting them and creating the dome of a Barrel vault oven in general. Therefore we at Kilnlinings have done all the tapering for you. All you need is to cement the bricks using our KLWASC cement, a small slither of cement will suffice just 2mm and can create this pizza / bread oven in hours. (Once your foundations are built of course)
The Standard Kit comprises of 173 Firebricks to build your oven with, 2 Chimney Stacks and 50kg KLWASC Cement.
The Superior Kit in addition to the standard kit comes with the following products which can be used to insulate your oven:
1 PIZZA PEEL
CALCIUM SILICATE BOARD’S (used under hearth insulation, below firebricks)
LBP HT INSULATION BLANKET TO INSULATE THE EXTERIOR OF THE OVEN.
9MTRS OF CHICKEN WIRE TO TIE THE BLANKET TO THE OVEN
INSULATING CASTABLE FOR THE FINAL RENDER
The Oven as shown can stand without cement as the bricks are tapered so precisely, however we always advise to cement all the bricks except the base for stability.
Dimensions of the finished firebrick oven are as follows (please allow extra room for insulation:
Whole area required to build oven = 1.39M (L) x 1.16M (W)
The Main oven area internally not including the front arch is 930mm (l) x 692mm (w)
