CF Blanket, (1260GD max service temp = 1260C and 1400GD max service temp = 1400C) can be used in many applications and is excellent at reducing heat and has good thermal stability. It is best used around specific awkward shapes or for plugging gaps in linings. If CF Boards can be used on a flat surface then, this is what we advise, though for awkward tapers and non flat surfaces CF blankets are excellent and can see the hot face of the lining.Please be aware this product is carcinogenic and correct health and safety precausions should be taken when handling or in the vacinity of the product.
